Does the fact-finding call have a cost? What is it for?

No, the fact-finding call is free. For me it is essential to understand if I can actually help you. It seems strange but not always those who contact me are clear what they need and what kind of advice they need. During the fact-finding call, respecting the confidentiality of every aspect, after the usual presentations, the most important thing for me is to collect your wishes and further information on your company, in order to make an initial analysis and understand in which parts I can be useful to you, or if I'm not the right person for your business.

Do you have a fixed rate for your services?

No. In general, the estimate is personalized according to the actual activities to be carried out within a work plan. Sometimes a complete setup of the activities is necessary which requires a very demanding work both in terms of time and intellectual effort, other times, such as for example in maintenance activities, hourly consultancy is offered depending on what needs to be done, in still other cases there are special projects that often require extra and urgent activities. These are just some of the reasons why it is not possible for me to establish a fixed rate for each service, but it is necessary for me to do an initial in-depth analysis to then propose the method of collaboration and the estimate!

Are advertising and translation costs included in your fee?

No. Pure advertising costs (e.g. budget for social media sponsorships) and translation costs are never included in my consultancy fee and you will be billed directly by the respective suppliers.

I need to fix the privacy, can you do it?

No. This activities, such as for example the Terms and Conditions of an e-commerce, are delegated to figures who have specific expertise in the matter, they do not fall within the activity that I can carry out directly. I provide advice when these obligations are necessary to be able to carry out the proposed marketing and development activities, but this consultancy will then be requested from specific figures.

Why do you prefer video calls to face-to-face meetings for update meetings?
It's very simple: because the meeting is so much more productive and your company also saves money on travel... In fact, although it might at first glance seem a choice of pure convenience, in reality approaching a video call meeting with the right approach is more profitable for both parties. Having a well-defined agenda and being able to use the digital tools available to work also during video calls (from whiteboards, screen sharing for presentations, instant interactivity for displaying multimedia elements, the possibility to record the call, the possibility to chat and ask questions, or to intervene by raising one's hand, to live polls, etc.), this meeting mode allows for a more effective and efficient use of the digital tools available to both parties. This mode of meeting makes it possible to make the most of productivity and the display of content, without requiring the company to have a suitable meeting room and eliminating the time required for car journeys by project collaborators, giving them the opportunity to take advantage of moments of confrontation even behind the screens.

Eurodesign: do I pay you for the writing only if the project gets funded?
No, it doesn't work like that... Writing a project proposal to submit to a call for funding is by no means trivial: it often requires months of work, study and research, and above all the end result of this work does not depend only on the designer writing the project, there are many variables to consider. I generally try to reach an economic compromise with the organisation on the basis of the complexity of the call for proposals and other aspects that are explored in depth during the analysis and budget phase.
