ONLINE YOGA
One-to-one (1:1) Yoga lessons live online
My lessons combine Physical training with attention to the body and alignments to practice safely, merged with breath awareness and listening to your body to practice within one's limits.
I prefer one-to-one lessons, for the simple reason that each person is different and each person has their own ability to feel good in their Yoga practice: in this way I can better adapt each lesson to individual needs.
I only practice live online, with google meet: this allows you to practice with me wherever you are and, compatibly with calendar availability, at the time you prefer based on your reservations.
The first lesson is a trial and is always free: to get to know each other and assess your needs!

WHAT YOU NEED AND HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF
FOR A LIVE ONLINE YOGA PRACTICE
A few tips to help you prepare and enjoy your lesson:
1- Connection stability and audio: check your wi-fi connection if you are in a covered area, or check that your mobile coverage is stable in the place where you decide to take the lesson. It is also important that the device you are using allows you to hear the audio cues as well as possible: check that the volume is at maximum or possibly use a Bluetooth headset; we will use Google Meet for the video call, it is simple and practical!
2- Framing and lighting: it is essential that you are clearly visible and that your whole figure can be seen on the screen. Position your smartphone or PC by checking with the camera what is being framed and if possible make sure there is light (if the lesson is in the dark hours of the day use fixed or mobile artificial lighting). This is so that I, as the teacher, can see you well and correct you or give you useful tips to improve your practice;
3- Your space for the practice: create your own space, set up your station with a yoga mat (non-slip if possible), bricks, rope and a meditation cushion to have everything at hand when the class will start. Find a quiet, clean space, away from noise, where no one should disturb you. Air the room and keep a mild temperature inside. If you like, light an incense or a Holy Pole, but not too close to where you will be practising.
4- Your body: use comfortable clothes, no clothes that are too tight, especially in the abdomen and chest area. Do not eat at least 2 hours before practising.
5- Practice barefoot!
Now everything is ready for your Yoga class, one to one, live online!

Prāṇāyāma
Prāṇāyāma (breath control), allows us to breathe with presence, through the different techniques it teaches us to stretch, hold and modify the rhythm and duration of the breath. Better breathing promotes attention and concentration.
Two options:
1- Prāṇāyāma and muscle awakening (Asana - physical postures - for flexibility and mobility);
2- Prāṇāyāma and stretching (Asana - physical postures - in stretching);
The practice is to be performed possibly on an empty stomach or at least two hours after the last snack. The lesson devotes particular attention and space to Prāṇāyāma.

Basic Yoga
The ideal lesson for beginners! If you've never tried a Yoga class, or have recently practiced, this type of class will allow you to improve your approach to Asana (physical postures). The lesson includes a short initial part of Prāṇāyāma and, to follow, the practice of basic Asanas with particular attention to learning the posture and becoming aware of it, with a gradual progression of the practice. The practice is to be performed on an empty stomach if possible or at least two hours after the last snack.

Hatha Yoga
HATHA YOGA is a discipline that focuses almost entirely on physical practice through Asana (physical postures) and Prāṇāyāma (breath control) leaving out the more spiritual aspects. It is characterized by paying attention to alignments and maintaining postures for several breaths. The lesson foresees a bell-shaped trend, starting from a variable Prāṇāyāma, reaching a central peak with more demanding Asanas, to continue with the natural evolution of a Yoga lesson.
The Asanas are performed safely and according to the level of experience of the practitioner. The practice is to be performed on an empty stomach if possible or at least two hours after the last snack.

FURTHER INFORMATION
If you like, you can find further information on YOGA in the BLOG! I periodically publish articles related to specific aspects: as you will be able to see, there are many stories and curiosities about YOGA, reducing the space dedicated to this discipline to a single finished page would have been an understatement! I have never stopped deepening my studying: my training in this discipline continues every day ...
